This past weekend, we were honoured to host an event and pop-up shop for our dear friends at Opelle Creative to celebrate the launch of their gorgeous SS17 collection.
Our unabashed love for Opelle’s work (and their fantastic team) is probably pretty obvious by now: We have been (and always will be) proud, long-term stockists of Opelle’s collections and we even created an exclusive, limited-run tote in collaboration with them!
This spring/summer at ZANE, lots of exciting things will be happening in-store that we cannot wait to share with you. To kick off the season, it seemed only fitting that we partner up with Opelle to do something special for their newly launched collection
We invited Amy and Beth (the dynamic duo behind Opelle) to host a pop-up shop at ZANE to showcase their latest pieces over the Easter Weekend. Using their magical, creative powers, Amy and Beth transformed our front window display and backspace of our retail store into an Opelle Oasis.
Opelle Handbags are a special breed of luxury bags. They are quality bags designed to be loved, and worn, and lived in - functional, without compromising aesthetic. In last week’s interview, when we asked Beth where she sees Opelle handbags living, she said, “I think the bags live in the multifaceted worlds of our Opelle women. She is a designer, mother, artist, entrepreneur, and our bags are her go-to for the various textures in her life.”
In many ways, Amy and Beth transformed our space into a living room that could have belonged to any and every type of Opelle woman. Much like a living wall of greenery is often a display of plant diversity, Amy and Beth created a living wall of handbags, representative of the diversity of Opelle women and the ever-changing demands and needs in their daily lives. The opening night of the pop-up shop was a resounding success and attracted a notably diverse group of attendees, all cut from various clothes: a newly born baby, a senior citizen, a fashion-savvy student, and an urban professional - just to name a few. Not only were guests given an exclusive chance to shop the entire Opelle Collection in person, but rather they were provided a space for those multi-faceted worlds, those various textures, to collide.
