Molly Spittal is the creative mind behind our favourite structured handbag line, The Stowe. Her style, like her bags, are enviable. We asked her about her personal style and how she would style her favourite pieces from our store with her line.

How do you use style to express your individuality and self-confidence?

I’m not that adventurous with my personal style (something you can safely assume if you are familiar with my line of handbags) I focus on fine detailing and finishing applied to classic timeless shapes. I almost exclusively wear natural fibers and I get a lot of my clothing made custom because what I want to fill my closet with is a little tough to find in Montreal.

What is one of your favourite contemporary artists?
I have been following James Turrell for ages, since I first saw his light installation at the Guggenheim. His work is uses light, shadow and architecture in a way that's almost beyond minimalist. If you ever get the chance go see his installation "Meeting" at the MOMA PS1 in Long Island City, it's worth a visit.

What are your top 3 picks from The Stowe’s FW17 collection?

My top 3 picks from our FW/17 collection are the Margot in Paprika, Eloise in Clay and Alex in all three

Margot: Paprika

Eloise: Clay

Alex: Paprika, Clay, Black

How would you style them with pieces from ZANE?

I would basically style anything with my No.1 style choice of the season - The last lolita cateye sunglasses by Le Specs! They’re the perfect shades and I think they are the perfect accompaniment to the feminine and bold shapes that I like to wear.

I’m a total earring freak and love a heavy hoop, so I would also toss in the Wolf Circus Gia hoop to complete the effortless-chic vibe. A few of my other favourites are The Tash earring by Michelle Ross, The Boob Necklace by Wolf Circus. Fresh Tangerine Square Stacker and the Come Again Chain Drop earring paired with the Curb Chain in Gold.
